Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity

Whoever believes that Jesus is Christ is born of God.  Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.  By this we know that we love the children of God when we love God and keep his commands.  For this is the love of God that we keep his commandments.  His commandments are not grievous.  (more…)

I need Jesus

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16

The Basic elements of this message:

God loves us.  He gave his only begotten Son to die on the cross as a sacrifice so we could be forgiven of our sins and not parish.  Spiritually everyone is either saved or lost.  We are saved, born again, from perishing only by believing in Jesus Christ, accepting Jesus, his message, and His forgiveness.  God has offered his salvation to everyone here on earth.

You cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven by your good deeds, but by the free gift of God’s grace.  In Romans 3:23 it states that “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”  We need to ask for repentence on a daily basis dying to our flesh daily.  When we are saved and ask for forgiveness and continue to hear the word of God, positive things in the spiritual and earthly realm will begin to occur.

Jesus gave his life as a sacrifice for our sins.  It does not mean that we continue to sin but that we recognize our sin asking God to cleanse us with the blood of Jesus and we repent our sins asking God for help.  We need to confess our weaknesses and confess to God that we need help.  We need to die to our flesh daily and ask for forgiveness daily.  In John 14:6 Jesus says that “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one cometh unto the Father (God) but by me.”

Jesus will forigive us our our past sins, and place our present in the care of God, and creates a room for us in heaven.

Pray with me:

Dear Jesus, You know my life and my heart.  You know every thought before it was conceived.  You know all of my actions, good or bad, thoughts or actions.  You walked in the flesh and know the daily tempations and the sinful thoughts of man.  I am sorry for my sins and all of my mistakes in the past.  I now confess my sins to you and ask that you forgive my sins and cleanse me with your blood.  You died on the cross for my sins.  Lord, I am completely surrendering my life to you.  Take every thought and action that lies ahead captive.  Set me free from my fleshly desires.  I want to live a life that is pure and holy and where I am walking in obiedience with you.  Lord teach me how I need to live my life to walk in right standing with you.  I ask you to walk with me the rest of the days of my life.  Lord fill me with your Holy Spirit and your holy presence.  In Jesus name I pray.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

God’s Everlasting Love

Monday, February 16th, 2009

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written:
“For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more that conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Sinner’s Prayer

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

If you confess with your mouth and believe through the words of this prayer, you can become a new creature in Christ Jesus with eternal life!

The Sinner’s Prayer

Lord, Jesus, I come to you as a sinner.  I confess You as my Lord and Savior and I believe in Your Word.  I surrender my will, my life, and I choose to obey You.  I give You my everything.  Wash me in Your Blood and cleanse me of all my sins.  Through Your death and resurrection I believe that I am forgiven…totally and set free and born again through the sacrificial power of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  Romans 10:9
